Ingredients
  

  • 5 peaches
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 Tablespoons butter (85 g)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk (180 ml)
  • ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Add sliced peaches, sugar, and salt to a saucepan, stir to combine, and cook until sugar dissolves.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until combined, then pour over melted butter.
  4. Spoon peaches and juice over batter, sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 38-40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream for a classic combination.
