Mouthwatering Strawberry and Watermelon Sorbet

A refreshing and light sorbet blending the sweetness of watermelon and strawberries, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cubed watermelon approximately 340g
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries around 300g, roughly 16 strawberries
  • 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice about 30 ml

Method
 

  1. Puree the cubed watermelon in a blender until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the watermelon puree with sliced strawberries and lemon juice.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Once frozen, scoop and serve immediately.

Notes

For a smoother texture, use seedless watermelon and ensure strawberries are hulled before slicing.
