Ingredients
  

  • 1 pint pint black raspberries stains easily
  • 0.5 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • lemon juice
  • 2-3 cups white vinegar for bonus variation

Method
 

  1. Combine black raspberries and water, blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
  3. Add sugar, bring to a boil, and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  4. Store syrup in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
  5. Optional: Add pulp to vinegar for a bonus variation.

Notes

Black raspberries stain easily, so handle with care and protect surfaces.
